Nonfarm payrolls on Friday could be close to the 185,000 consensus.

ADP Employment rose 217,000 in February vs. revised (up 2,000) gain of 189,000 in January.

This was widely off the mark in recent months, but if we judge just on this nonfarm payrolls on Friday (rule of thumb) could be slightly lower than 193.000 consensus.

Nonfarm payrolls on Friday (rule of thumb) could be close to 143.000 consensus.

ADP Employment rose 297.000 in November vs. revised (down 1,000) gain of 92,000 in November. This reading is off the charts, highest since at least 2001 (I don’t have older data).

Nonfarm payrolls on Friday (rule of thumb) could be better than 140.000 consensus.

ADP Employment rose 93.000 in November vs. revised (up 12,000) gain of 70,000 in October. Consensus was at +70,000. Nonfarm payrolls on Friday (rule of thumb) could be close to or maybe little short of a 168.000 consensus.
