U.S. Durable Goods New Orders Fell 0.8% In September

(For September 2011)

Durable goods new orders fell 0.8% in September vs. -1.0% consensus and 0.1% fall in August.

Transportation taken out the figure was an increase of 1.7% vs. 0.4% fall in August (revised downwards from -0.1%). Consensus was at 0.4%.
