U.S. Consumer Price Index Rose 0.5% In July

(For July 2011)

U.S. consumer price index rose 0.5% in July vs. 0.2% consensus and June reading of -0.2%. On year level CPI inflation is running at 3.6%.

Consumer price index less food & energy came at 0.2%. July reading was at 0.3%. Consensus was at 0.2%. On year level CPI core inflation is running at 1.8%.
