U.S. Personal Income Rose 0.5%; U.S. Consumer Spending Rose 0.6%

(For March 2011)

U.S. personal income rose 0.5% in March vs. 0.4% consensus and 0.4% rise in February. On y-o-y level personal income is up 5.3%.

U.S. consumer spending rose 0.6% in March vs. 0.5% consensus and 0.9% February reading. On y-o-y level consumer spending is up 4.6%.

U.S. personal savings as a percentage of disposable income stayed unchanged at 5.5.%.
