(For January 2011)

Durable goods new orders rose 2.7% in January vs. 2.8% consensus and -0.4% revised fall in December (revised upwards from -2.5%).

Transportation taken out the figure was a decrease of 3.6% vs. 3.0% gain in December (revised upwards from 0.5%). The consensus was at 0.5%.
